Born into the missionary family of Larry & Betty Goff, Vaughn Goff came to know Jesus at the age of 6 while lost in the Arizona desert.  Vaughn grew up on the mission field in many countries South of the United States including Mexico, Guatemala, Guyana, Belize & Brazil.  Having a deep calling on his life to reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus (primarily those that had never heard it before), Vaughn started making solo missionary trips at the age of 14.  Later, Vaughn  and his father Larry traveled to the Amazon Rain forest in 1984 (2 years later his brother Victor would join them). Vaughn spent 6 years venturing deep into Amazon jungle in search of undiscovered tribes to share the love of Christ with them.  Vaughn met his future wife Irene, daughter of Asatdo Wai Wai (current Chief) and Grand-daughter of Elka Wai Wai (High chief, went to be with the Lord in 1995), in 1985 while working with the Wai Wai Amazon Indian tribe in Brazil (You can find more information about the Wai Wai's in the book, "Christ Witchdoctor" by Homer Dowdy).  Vaughn and Irene were married in 1986, and their first daughter Esther was born in 1987, in the Amazon.  Vaughn is still active in his ministries with the Wai Wai's as well as several other areas of this continent.
