Casares, Nicaragua

Casares, Nicaragua 1966

Larry (on left) with fisherman that we ministered with in this village.

Fishing was the only means of lively hood for this village. While in this village, Larry went fishing one day with some of the local fisherman that had come to Christ.   They had to row 10 miles out to sea in a dug out canoe.  God blessed this day with a 250 pound sea bass.   This was an extremely large and unusual fish to catch for these poor fisherman who only had hand lines to fish with.  This fish was sold at market and made enough money to meet the needs of all of these men's families.  God is good!
